Relentless: Mental Toughness — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25th, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Relentless App LLC (“Relentless,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Relentless: Mental Toughness mobile application (the “App”). We are the controller of your personal information.

Contact: admin@relentlessmentaltoughness.com
Mailing address: 16100 Foster Street, Overland Park, KS 66085

By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Quick summary

  • We collect the information needed to run your account, deliver lessons, and track your progress — including the journal entries you write.
  • We use a small number of trusted service providers (named below) to host data, process payments, and understand how the App is used.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • You can delete your account and data at any time from inside the App, or by emailing us.
  • Your journal entries are private to you and are never sold or used to target ads.

The sections below give the full detail.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password, or — if you sign in with Apple or Google — the account identifier those services share with us. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see your raw password.

Profile information. Information you provide to set up your experience, such as your display name, your sport, your upcoming competition date, and your onboarding selections.

Journal and reflection content. The text you write in response to in-app journal prompts and reflection exercises. This is content you create, and we treat it as described in Section 5.

Progress data. Records of which lessons you’ve completed, your Mindfulness / Acceptance / Commitment (MAC) scores, and your streaks.

Subscription and purchase status. Whether you have an active subscription or free trial, and your entitlement status. Payments are processed by Apple — we never receive or store your credit card or full payment details. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status.

Usage and device information. When you use the App, we automatically collect information about how you interact with it (for example, screens viewed, features used, session length), along with technical details such as your device type, operating system, and IP address. This information is associated with your account identifier so we can understand how individual users experience the App and improve it.

We do not collect precise (GPS-level) location data.

2. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Create and maintain your account and deliver the App’s core features (lessons, exercises, journaling, progress tracking).
  • Personalize your experience, including adjusting goals around your competition date.
  • Process and manage your subscription and free trial.
  • Understand how the App is used so we can fix problems and improve it.
  • Communicate with you about important notices, updates, and — where permitted — occasional product or marketing messages. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
  • Protect the security and integrity of the App and comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal bases for processing (EU/UK users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide the App and the features you sign up for.
  • Legitimate interests — to analyze usage, improve the App, and keep it secure, balanced against your rights.
  • Consent — where required for certain communications or processing; you may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to process information to comply with the law.

4. Service providers and third parties

We share information only with the trusted providers we use to operate the App. Each is bound to use the information only to provide services to us. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Each provider maintains its own privacy policy:

We may also disclose information when required by law (for example, to comply with a subpoena or legal process), or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or respond to a lawful government request.

5. Your journal and reflection content

Your journal entries and reflections are personal content you create inside the App. We want to be explicit about how we treat them:

  • They are stored solely to provide the service to you — so you can revisit your entries and see your progress over time.
  • They are never sold, and never used to target advertising.
  • They are not medical or clinical records. Relentless is a mental-performance training app, not a healthcare provider, and nothing in the App is medical advice or therapy (see our Terms of Use).
  • Your entries are isolated through row-level database security, so only you can access your own journal content while signed in to the App.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to operate the App, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete the personal data associated with it as described in Section 8, subject to any retention required by law.

7. Your privacy rights

EU/UK (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We will respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by law (generally 30 days).

California (CCPA/CPRA). We collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as email and account ID), customer records (such as display name), commercial information (subscription status), internet/usage activity, and user-generated content (journal entries). We collect these from you directly and from your use of the App, for the business purposes described in Section 2. We do not sell or share your personal information. California residents have the right to know, access, correct, and delete their personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

How to exercise your rights. Delete your account and data directly in the App (see Section 8), or email admin@relentlessmentaltoughness.com.

8. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the App: go to Profile → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your associated personal data, including your profile, journal entries, and progress. You can also request deletion by emailing admin@relentlessmentaltoughness.com.

9. International data transfers

Our service providers store and process your information in the United States (Supabase is hosted on AWS US East 1, North Virginia; PostHog uses US cloud infrastructure). If you are located outside that region, your information may be transferred to and processed in a country with different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.

10. Security

We use reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and access controls limiting who can reach it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Apple’s age rating for the App is 9+ in all countries, except: 12+ in Vietnam, A10 in Brazil, and ALL (all ages) in South Korea. Apple uses that rating to decide who can download the App. We do not add a separate age check inside the App.

If someone creates an account, we collect the same categories of information described in this policy — including email or sign-in identifier, profile and onboarding details, journal entries, progress data, subscription status, and usage/device information — regardless of the user’s age.

If you are a parent or guardian and want an account deleted, email admin@relentlessmentaltoughness.com or use Delete Account in the App (Profile → Delete Account).

12. Automated decision-making and AI

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. The App does not currently use artificial intelligence to process your personal data.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email where appropriate.
